Presentation was messy with some cake slices having cream smeared all over the side. So those who cook the food know the food is not good. And with not even the restaurant a quarter full, they were out of soup spoons and did not even know it. Other buffets (where you pay less) have 3-4 soups to pick from. Cold cuts: They use deli meat for this, which is pretty sad.
Even Souper Salad again has better pizza (and that's not saying much). Salad: Souper Salad has a better and wider selection. Even Golden Corral serves better steak and more flavorful for less the price.
Worse than what I had in school cafeterias. People are not dumb: Roast beef: Dry and tough slices cut and left on the board to change color. The restaurant was only a quarter full for dinner and this tells you something. Sadly to say, it's even worse than our last visit in 2011. Recently, they renovated, so we wanted to try and see if things turned around. We were less able to come after we moved away, but found that the food had begun a downward spiral beginning around 2010. In 2008/2009, the food had a wide selection and the quality was good for the price. And I have to say they have got progressively worse since the last year and a half. We have been coming to the Eagles Buffet since 2008.
